best way to reuse badminton racket
There's two things I always grab when I run into them at a austerity store. Badminton sets and croquet sets.
It's the kind of thing people will buy for a picnic or family unit reunion, simply just end upward tripping over in the garage the residual of the year. So a lot of times they cease up being donated to thrift stores or sold at thousand sales.
And virtually of the time they are not the entire set, just pieces, merely they are corking for upcycling projects!
Before I get likewise far, today is Austerity Store Decor Squad Wednesday and at the bottom of the post I'll prove some other thrift shop finds my friends accept made over this month! Make sure yous stick effectually to the lesser and give those crafters a visit.

X-acto Knife
Jig Saw or Scroll Saw
E6000 Glue (or a crafting mucilage gun)
Chalk
Shuttlecock (optional)
Pencil and Newspaper
Safety Spectacles
* I purchased a piece of chalkboard from Home Depot in their arts and crafts wood section. You could also cut up an onetime chalkboard you take lying around the business firm or utilize a sparse piece of wood you lot paint with chalkboard paint.
Instructions:
Take a slice of paper and a pencil and trace a template around the inside of the rackets. The cork and chalkboard are going to set on summit of the strings.
Cut out your template.
Double check to make sure information technology fits correctly earlier you go to the next stride. This is one of those measure twice and cut once situations.
Cut out your cork with an X-acto knife using the template as a guide.
So cut out the chalkboard with either a jig saw or a whorl saw. I used a jig saw only considering I didn't have a curl saw in my tool stash. I do remember the gyre saw would have been quicker.
Please use all appropriate rubber precautions considering saws and X-acto knives are cutty and no one wants to go around with a few missing fingers just because they were in a hurry.
Adhere your cork and chalkboards to the tennis racket with your gum. Recollect, y'all are placing this directly over the existing strings.
Attach a shuttlecock to the chalkboard noise to exist used equally a chalk holder.
Be prepared for an organized life!
You lot could pin receipts, photos or all sorts of things to the bulletin lath. I thought the wink cards were cute for correct now though.
I got a little fancy with my chalkboard note (is that a Brady Bunch song?), only you could simply every bit easily write reminders for the domestic dog'southward vet appointment in that location or your grocery list.
OK, now that you lot have your badminton game perfected, popular on over and see what my friends take washed with their thrift shop finds, because information technology's Thrift Store Decor Wednesday!!!
